House with Exposed Ceiling Beams – Home Tour
I believe that the ceiling is as important as the floor when it comes to interior design. This house is the proof of this and it was probably one of the most interesting places I photographed. Not only because of its interior decor but mostly because of architectural elements that give this house uniqueness – exposed ceiling beams. The ceiling beams give a visual impact of depth and texture. They draw the eye up, making a space larger that creates architectural interest. Some of the beams have a rustic finish, and I love how designers used this material throughout the house to complement the decor!
The tour of the house starts with a foyer that opens to the living and dining.
In the living room you can see patterns of ceiling repeated in rug patterns.
Second floor family room is decorated with different colors and patterns.
It was an incredible place to visit and photograph. The designers did fantastic job connecting decor with architectural elements of this house. If you have any comments or questions please let me know. I will be happy to response. Cheers!
